| My first visit to Dr. Bullock’s office two years ago was a treat for both my 9 week old mini-Beagle and me -- and it has only gotten better! She is a great listener and genuinely cares about the health of her patients. Her staff is extraordinarily attentive to the tiny patients in their care and is equally attuned to the owner’s concerns as well. The clinic has every modern convenience, including computerized records and a full array of surgical and medicinal care, so combined with the great people there, you can’t go wrong. I recommend any caring pet owner to Dr. Bullock and Wantage Vet. ~Sue~
Dr. Bullock and her staff have seen us through some very rough clinical times with dedicated skill and amazing attentiveness. We have dealt with cancer, orthopedic issues, surgery and a variety of illnesses in our animal kingdom. Despite the breed and despite the illness, our animals have always received the best and most compassionate care at Wantage Veterinary Hospital. Whether it is a routine visit, surgery or an emergency we are always comfortable knowing our animals are receiving the best and most up to date care. As a pet owner I sleep better at night knowing that almost any problem I have with any of my animals can be taken care of just 3 miles from my home. Wantage Veterinary Hospital is most definitely the gold standard of animal medical care. ~Randi~
Our neighbor mentioned that a co-worker takes their dog to the Wantage Veterinary Hospital. So, we called, explained the situation, and they got us in for an appointment that same day. From the moment they answered, I knew we made the right choice! You arrive at the office and you can't help but notice how clean and welcoming it is. And the staff was so friendly and attentive as soon as we walked through the door. When it was time for our appointment, we were taken into a room, and the exam began. From the moment we got there, we felt at ease. And this includes our dog! Candy, one of the vet technicians, had such a pleasant manner about her that seemed to make our dog feel comfortable (even though she was in new surroundings and uncomfortable from her injury). She took the time to get all the information to put in our dog's records and even went over everything to make sure it was correct. Our dog must have felt so relaxed with her that she even tried to give her a kiss! When Dr. Bullock entered the room, she went right over to our dog, petted her and spoke to her as if she'd been her patient for years. The doctor spoke with us and she began her exam. Dr. Bullock was so gentle that I think our dog didn't even realize she was at the vet's office! It didn't seem like it at the time, but we were in the office for almost an hour and a half, Dr. Bullock took the time to explain everything she was doing and what the dog's condition was. And she spoke to us so that we could understand her-not a bunch of medical terms that we wouldn't be able to comprehend.
Our dog is a large breed, one that most other vets seem to be apprehensive about. Not Dr. Bullock! She seemed to treat our dog as if it were her own dog, which is something we haven't seen since we were at our old vet over 2 years ago. I have to admit that none of our animals have ever had such a thorough exam as this one with Dr. Bullock and her staff. From Candy, the vet technician who we first saw when we came in, to Julie who took x-rays, and Dr. Bullock herself. Needless to say, we are overwhelmingly pleased with our experience at the Wantage Veterinary Hospital. We travel 45 minutes to the office, and it is well worth the drive. It has taken us over 2 years, and many less-than-pleasant visits at other veterinary offices, but we are glad to have found Dr. Bullock and her staff. They are all so caring and concerned for the well being of the animals that they treat, and I believe they truly love what they do. We will look no further, because we have found the office that will always treat our pets. ~Samantha & Chris~ |
